  • Upper ESVA seaside report

Whenever I have to work split shifts I usually try to sneak out fishing in the off hours between shifts. The other day was no different. With a good weather window, and 4 hours before I had to be back to work, I launched to fish the seaside marshes behind the Wallops Island area. I really just wanted to try and pick up a speck or two for the dinner table. I ended up with a lot of short stripers, 1 short speck, 1 keeper speck @17", and a good eater sized blue @18". It'll be broiled bluefish and blackened speck later this week for dinner!
