Is anyone fishing the tournament next week? Was looking into it the past few months but I don't fish or know that body of water that well, other than Rudee Inlet. I've fished the lower eastern shore from land but have not from kayak yet.

I haven’t fished this tournament since 2019, but it’s a lot of fun. It all goes to a good cause and the food/company was great. The sponsors contribute a lot of prizes, which makes the raffle wild. MOC did really well with it one year.
Fishing-wise, if there are no storms it’s one of the best times to fish down there. All of the inlets will produce and if conditions are right you can fish the CBBT. My dad and I got first and second place, respectively for the drum division in 2019. Good luck if you participate and let us know how you did.J -
Fishing the Tangier Classic Kayak Division which is 9/24 - 9/26 and is open all the way past CBBT.
