  • This weekend Plan (Sat, Nov 19) - Kipto or Cape Henlopen

I am definetley off this Sat. I am thinking Kipto (Rudee is the backup). Or I can go to Cape Henlopen, DE for Tog.

Is there any one heading Kipto or CapeHenlopen this Weekend?

I plan to try CBBT Saturday morning. If CBBT waters are bad, I may join you at Kipto.

In any case, would you like to meet at Rudee or HRBT Saturday evening?

I always thought there is reciprocity between VA and MD. It's here: http://www.dnr.state.md.us/dnrnews/p...9/050509a.html
I think you have to register on-line with VA, for free.

I know there's togs and stripers at Kipto. Don't know about specks. For sure, specks, togs and stripers are at Rudee.

I guess I will do binge fishing. Yup I will try Rudee in the afternoon/evening.

I am leaning toward Kipto only because I can hit the shore and come back quickly (I will be wearing wader from now on) Here is my cell 703-282-3816.

          Michael, how about you?

I wish I could make it Joe! There is no way to get out of the MSSA tournament this weekend, I told the captain I'd be there so I have to stick to that. I can however sneak out next weekend potentially.

Good luck to you guys. I'll be working from home the second half of the day I'm hoping, let me know if you want to borrow that 9m as back up. It has 50lb braid on it.

              Michael,
I am making one 209m out of two broken 209m. This time I will do the stress test (reeling in a 30# dumbbell) for sure

You sure use a strong reel, Joe. Did you spool it with 30# mono?

Ok, I'll call you tomorrow morning if I come to Kipto. Or maybe you'll just see me on the water. That would mean CBBT waters are rough.

For Saturday night, looks like there's many choices: Rudee, HRBT or James River Bridge.

Blackfin said specks and stripers are biting at JRB. It's a short paddle to JRB to fish along the pilings.

                    Tufnik,
209m is a big reel for tog and I think I fixed it right this time. I use 30# test for tog. 209M is a spare reel tomorrow.

I bought about 14 crab from Lotte in Fairfx circle on the way home. The crab are very lively. I will arrive at the ships around 9:00am

I can go to either Rudee or JRB for specks

                    See you tommorrow.
