After 3 weeks of not fishing (except one day of shad fishing) due to a vacation with grand kids, I hit the water. It has been very windy for weeks. I saw an opening of a 4-6 hours of the calm water before the strong wind. Luckily, I landed 4 keepers out of 7. before 12:30 PM when the wind started to blow.
