Flounder but no sheepshead at CBBT, VA, 06/12/2024

Well, I've been busy working and supporting a house remodeling.
This time I learned to make entire drawers for kitchen cabinet in addition to replacing tiles before replacing toilets and sink cabinets.
I knew I am too old for working with knee pads on.

I fished in pain. But, I needed to smell and feel the water and fish.

I expected a sheepshead and a flounder along with the pesky croaker, toadfish and sea bass.

Good to see you back on the water. And yes, it's always nice to return to our kayaks after a long absence.

I was out there about a week after you--no sheepshead for me, either. Glad you got a flounder. The only noteworthy catch for me was a 27" striper I got under the Lesner on a fiddler and bottom sweeper. Slower than I expected.
