This is another late post due the site issue.
"Got Lucky Again."
I launched at 6 AM. I fished between 5-6 hours around the slack tide at 9-ish. Currents were mild and the water temp was 67F I found 2 new pylons holding eels. These pylons will hold trophy tautogs in Feb and Mar - I learned this at CBBT Caught over 20 toadfish, 4 eels and over 20 tautogs. 3 keeper tautog at 17”-19” were decent sizes around this time of the year.
The spawning tautog started. This means catching at the pylons (bridge columns) won't be good any more. Tautogs will be congregated in the big rock bed, wet of the 1st island.
