Central VA HOW - leading your hero to the fish......

During a recent Central Virginia Heroes On The Water fresh water event, I finally fulfilled my goal of leading my hero and putting him on a decent fish. Hopefully, this is a sign of things to come in the future at other fresh water events. The hero I was paired with has been my hero for the last 3 outings, since my normal hero was unable to make this event. As the weather gets hotter each passing day, these late afternoon events can sometimes be hit or miss for targeting bass. You can usually get a bluegill to bite, but the thrill of getting a hero on a larger fish is always an added bonus.

Good job putting your hero on fish. I realized how tough guiding is at our HOW event. I've put my father on fish (at least in freshwater), but we're on similar wavelengths. Putting a (more-or-less) stranger on fish is a lot harder. Congrats.
