HRBT, Sekret Location, and some other spot 10/12-1/14

I dont really have the energy for a full report and Chexone already shared most of the details in his post so here are the stats of my best weekend of fishing ever.
13 total species: Grey Trout, Puppy Drum, Flounder, Bluefish, Striper, Seabass, Pinfish, Pigfish, Puffer, Eel, Tautog, Toadfish, Speck.
5 personal bests: Puppy Drum, Tautog, Speck, Toadfish, Eel
New Species: Grey Trout, Pinfish, Pigfish
Here are some highlights:

HRBT 10/12-10/13


Striper were caught on gulp swimming mullet and some other 3" gulp paddle tail thing that I dont remember the name of.

That one tog was just a bit shy of 16...

Puppy drum were caught on top and bottom rig with squid. One of the Seabass that I caught had a tag in that was seriously covered in algae. The tag said "reward call this phone number." I havent called yet, but wondering if this was one of Rob Choi's tags.

While out there I was thinking I was catching the same kind of fish for the pinfish and pigfish, but after looking at some pics on the interwebs, I guess I caught both. Sorry, no pics of the pigfish, eel or toadfish on the hawg trough. I'll see if theres anything on the gopro tonight.

Yea, I was really hoping it was a giant flattie while I was pulling it up, but nope...

HRBT-North is generally less crowded, a shorter paddle/peddle and more protected from the wind then the south end, but the launch site is a little sketchy. It helps to have a friend to carry the kayaks to the water.

I fished there many times, but not at night. I launch at Old Pt Comfort Marina. Has boat ramp and sandy area. Kayak launch fee is $2.
