Cool afternoon, some wind. Fished 3 until dark. Not much else to say except that I need some pointers when it comes to Crappie fishing. Did not see anyone else out on the water. Felt good to stretch the arms out with some paddling.

Water was stained a bit and I used smelly jelly. Fished the docks, usual spots with 1/4 oz. jigs and 2" grubs. Last spring I had great fishing while jigging the brige pilings. Briefly tried there with no luck. There are a lot of hearty souled fishermen out there who handle the cold better than me. Either I need to invest in some good cold weather gear or sit around the shed oranizing the tackle box. Might redo my anchor trolly as I have never been happy with the one I first installed.Comment
