Met HokieDJ there and we were on the water 0800 hrs. Nice day to fish: 80's, light wind and small chops. The water was at least in the upper 60's, which is good for flounder.

Did a lot of jigging, and caught a bunch of croakers and toads. No flounder. I didn't see boaters catch any fish. There was a flounder report on channel 68, and only one person caught a keeper flounder.

Oh when, oh when, will they come in........

Bummer... when do the spades and sheepies come in?

I think they may be in already, but not in numbers. I like to go after them when tog season opens. That way, when I drop the rig down, the common bait will attract any of three fish species. Right now, I like to target flounder.
