I got there around 5pm, fishing around launch spot but no action. So, I paddle to lily patch area. A lot of action as soon as I go there. First fish of the day was a decent size bass 16', then I got what I came for SH, around 6-7 lbs. The rest of the evening was nice, I hooked up another 7-8 trash fish, oops I meant bass. Sorry no pictures, fish was biting hard so I didn't want to play around with the phone for picture. I think I seriously need a ruler so I can measure fish too . Any recommendation?

A lot of people like to use hawg trough or other types of bump board. I myself am a cheapo and use the retractable fabric rulers to measure my fish.

Rage tail toad. I bought them at Dicks, size 5 or 6 hook. I destroyed 2 frogs fishing yesterday. I fish until both its tail got bitten off, it was quite a blast watching them hit top water bait.
