Was on the water 8 am. Nice day, mostly sunny with winds 5-15 mph. The current was rippin', especially on the incoming, so I got a good workout both ways.
Target was sheeps and maybe reds as I fished along the way toward the 1st island. I jigged some but mainly used a tandem rig with blue crab and sand fleas. Nothing hit the blue crab. Caught 2 scups, 1 blue and a lot of croakers, toads and sea bass. All fish C&R. Trolled a pearl bass-assassin and had half the body bitten off.
Couldn't find the sheeps, but it was a nice yaking day. Hope to have better luck next time. Was on the water over nine hours.
