    Kipto 11-16-13, Sat

I was on the water at 8 am looking for togs and reds.

On the first round I went to all the wreck holes and ended up with one toad. Almost no nibbles on my baited tandem of blue crab and shrimp. I talked to three yakers, and they caught nothing. A boater also caught nothing.

Later in the morning I met Mojo & Mike (Chexone) on the water. We continued to hunt of togs. I later peeled off the hunt and went toward shore and nets looking for reds. There were shore fisherman there too. Nothing, so I went back to the wrecks.

I did hook up on a tog through one of the wreck holes, but the rusty rebars didn't give me good maneuver. The tog went into a hole and I eventually had to break it off.

Mojo & Mike were tog kings of the day. They found a hot hole and caught many togs, including two keepers. Mike said he was going to HRBT for striper action in the evening, so I'm waiting for his report.

I did do some trolling along the wrecks with a T/W. Nothing. I also did some jigging, maybe 10 minutes, but went back to togging.

Not a bad day of fishing. Cloudy, light winds. Water was good with less than a foot chops on the east wind side.

Thanks for the report, sorry about the lack of fish. Did you try fishing inside the ships? That's where I seem to have the most luck at kipto.

I didn't jig much because I thought my chances would be better since Ryan and Mike caught reds with bait.

Yes, I fished along, inside and through-the-holes of the wrecks. Mike caught the togs through-the-hole. I think his pet Mojo was the secret, and that fishing weapon is only 6-months old.

No secrets here but I do agree Mojo is the secret.
