Great time fishing with friends and a nice haul as well. Went out with Chuck, Patrick, Archer and Phil.
We all caught a good amount of fish. Check out the full report below.

Was thinking I'm done for the year going down to Norfolk/VB (it's almost a four hour drive for me), but your vid is changing my mind. Just got to get over the crowd of yaks and boats I may see out there during night fishing....lol. Thanks for the report.

Nice vid. Do you have the Gopro or another camera? I've been looking at getting one of the cheaper action cameras. Looks like most of the menhaden are on that side of the hrbt--all the fish I filleted last week from Monroe had hardly eaten recently.

I made a long day trip on Saturday down there myself after all. Fished Monroe for two hours in the evening at slack low tide and only managed 3 stripers at 15" to 17" before the wind started ripping. Also fished Great Bridge Locks again during the day and landed a little over a dozen throwback specks, while my friend landed a couple nice keepers at 17" and 21" (got his speck revenge after getting skunked at Rudee the past two weeks). The boats are pretty bad over there also, but there are some nice creeks near the launch to get away from them. However, I did almost get hit by a jet skier last weekend in one of the larger creeks. It looked like he was getting a thrill out of seeing how close he could get to me running at full throttle.
