private lake in Caroline county

Spent a couple hours yesterday on a new to me lake with my son and 4 fellow yakkers. We split up in groups to check out the lake and things did not start out to good for me as my son caught 5 fish before I caught my first. He had 14 and I had 9 but I made a strong comeback as we were getting ready to head in. We finished with 13 and 15 not a bad way to spend the afternoon. We caught mostly LG and pickrel the others also caught yellow perch and a few crappy.

That was Mason' s first time catching pickrel and wound up with 7.

Next we are hoping to catch our first snakeheads near Fredericksburg.
