For those who have launched here (Martin or Jimmy?), do you use the boat ramp or the kayak launch? Where is the kayak launch? Is it that corner before the road bends to go to the ramp?

The kayak launch is beside the two boat ramps, a bit rough with oyster shells ($10 fee). The Raccoon Creek launch (on the bend), is muddy and only usable mid to high tide (no fee). The Fish & Wildlife warden is there a lot and will ask you to move if you use the boat ramps. They have a long history of being a private commercial waterman's ramp, and have only been open to the public for the last several years, thus, they want to keep the kayaks out of the way of folks making a living. If you have a PA on a trailer, you might be able to use the ramp quickly if no one is around. The kayak launch is very close to where you can back up to, so you probably will not need wheels especially if you have a friend. Good luck.
