Chincoteague Flounder

Was able to take Thursday off. Went down to CI to open the house for my cousin to use the following week. Fished from the skiff up on the flats. The flounder, one keeper. Wind and tide were not cooperating. Probably would be better from the kayak but don't like to fish solo in a current. Guys on the beach are slamming good size rock mixed with black drum. Heard a report that a friend saw some puppy drum on the sound side. Willis wharf is hot for black drum right now. Bought a new Malibu 2 XML on Friday. Wife and I like to tandem fish. Will post report over memorial weekend. Mark
