Could not find any snakeheads back where we fished. I did quite a bit of stand up paddling to try and locate them, but I guess they were not outside of the vegetation feeding much yesterday. I'm also thinking that maybe all the jet skis and power boats sent them into hiding, or I guess it may be possible that the bow hunters were in there at night with spotlights cleaning them out as well.
Last few times I fished back in there, the snakeheads were very active all over the place. I will try again there when it gets a little warmer, but I guess I will also start exploring different areas a little further south off the Potomac as well.
I went to Leesylvania State park yesterday in search of snakeheads with no luck. I tried just about every lure in my arsenal and nothing hit, the water was very dirty and the tide was high. They must have been hiding way in the back because I did not see any of them. Only a miserable slimy catfish.
I was there a few weeks ago...flipped my yak before I could get started. Lost about $2K work of gear in the middle of Aquia Creek (river). Luckily I was insured.

$2K I would have been to sick to drive home! I'm glad Flo was able to hook you up with new stuff.
Went out there earlier this year but most of the river was still frozen, only thing I lost was the feeling in my hands.
