Fished the flats on opening day looking for some striper action. Covered 6 miles chasing breaking fish . Left the flats after finally finding that the jumping fish were actually huge carp. This fooled me last year as well but never over the muddy part of the flats. One 30 pounder hit my bow, doing whatever it is they do.
Threw some gurgles, flat wings and clousers, not a bite.
Going to try a little further south but anyone having any luck?
