All,
Tomorrow, Saturday 3 February, at 10:00 a.m. the FSFF will host a fly tying session at its Davidsonville clubhouse. We will be tying variants of the Bead Head Copper John, a very effective trout fly.
On Wednesday, 7 February at 7:00 p.m. the club will hold its regular monthly meeting. Our guest speaker will be MD DNR inland water fisheries specialist John Mullican. John is an expert on upper Potomac smallmouth bass, walleye and muskie.
On Saturday, 17 February at 10:00 a.m., Joe Bruce will lead our fly tying session. He will show us his simplified leader system and teach us how to tie articulated flies.
Looking ahead to March, our general meeting on Wednesday, the 7th at 7:00 p.m. will be a special presentation by club members sharing their favorite places to fish. A lot of “site-burning” will take place at that meeting with directions and photos of proven areas projected on our big screen. Please note that many of these sites are ideal for light tackle kayak anglers.
The above sessions are open to the public. Please join us if you can.
