So sad to hear of his passing today. Dunno if he ever
Kayaked but I did win the 7-WT, 9ft, 2-pc flyrod he signed & donated
To the raffle @ the CBKA Tourney in 2016.

A big loss to the fly fishing community.

But he will live on through his many publications and the countless people he influenced in the sport.

A great fisherman and a better person.

People with a thin skin were better off in the back row when he was demonstrating. He left quite a legacy. RIP Lefty.

The fishing community has lost a true ambassador. I never knew of him until recently but come to find out I have been familiar with his influence on the sport for years via the Kreh Loop knot or Lefty's Deceiver.

Reading through some obituaries and accounts of his life, I am always amazed by those who lead such extraordinary lives with seemingly little effort. R.I.P.

Our table was the luck table in 2016 John...I was so excited about your winning that special, special rod...such a treasure you have...a personal autographed fly rod owned and used by the master fly rod angler- Flip Parrot credits Lefty with his love of fly fishing...quite an andorsement!

At yesterday's FSFF flea market, one of the members gave me his April/May edition of "Fly Fisherman" magazine. Given lead-times required for publications, the following article from that edition of the magazine was written well before Lefty Kreh's passing.

                http://www.flyfisherman.com/news/lefty-kreh/

As the on-line version indicates, Lefty actually read the article. I'm certain that Lefty realized his lasting positive impact on the angling community But how nice, and humbling, it must have been for him to read this tribute.

I'm not a subscriber to the magazine, so I didn't see the article until last night. But I thought some here who also may not have seen the article may like to read it.
