i launched at the Goodhand ramp at 6:30 this morning. The parking lot was almost full of crabbers-I got the last slot for my truck. With an ebb tide and flat water, I headed to Hog Island and started throwing my 7wt with a chartreuse clouser. I worked both sides of the island and landed a couple of WP and a few small schoolies.

I left Hog and headed for the rock along the Kent Narrows Breakwater. I started at the north end and quickly had a heavy hookup. It was a 23+" Catfish. Took about 10 minutes to land. After taking a few pictures, I had to really work to removed the hook. Glad I had my heavy duty forceps. Amazing that this large fish wanted this little fly.

From the breakwater, I moved on to the grassy shorelines, but the sun was up high and the bite stopped. I moved back into Goodhands Creek and threw my 5wt along the shady shoreline and found a few more WP. Got off the water by 10:30.
