I use a Gary Kreps popper jig to cut foam cylinders for my poppers. I really like it. I didn't know he also made a minnow cutter.

It's a pretty fly and a lot of work. I can knock out Clousers and Bend-Backs much faster. Think I'll stick with them. But the tier did a great job.

If I was a bass, I'd bite it!

I have tons of foam due to my other hobby of RC airplane building...once I get back home, I will give this a try. Just recently acquired UV glue too...good stuff.

I think I'll get a few Copic pens and mark up some of my poppers like that fellow colored his minnow. I suspect it will make little difference to the fish but it may give me more confidence.
