  • James Woods Bucktail

This is my version of the James Woods Bucktail. This is the first one I ever attempted. I tied a second one this afternoon and will tie a couple more tomorrow. This is supposed to be a panfish fly that will also attract small bass. I have a feeling it will be popular with fallfish in the small flows near my home. Hope to test it out this year. Saw a tutorial from panfishonthefly.com.

    Tom,

It's interesting that the sparsest material on the fly is its name.

You can get a lot of those out one bucktail!

    Nice tying.
