Beautiful Evening

Had a nice smallie on my 5 weight yesterday evening. The smallie was good sized for the small flow I was fishing. It ate a panfish popper I had tied up over the winter. It ran into the faster water, made a few jumps, and then it decided to rub itself on the side of a big rock. You can guess what happened next. He came unbuttoned. Would have been nice to snap a photo of the fish. Beautiful evening. Crystal clear water. Had the flow all to myself. Fishing wasn't great. Only other fish was this guy.
