When line guides freeze, there's no doubt the air is colder than the water.

But the pickerels are still willing and waiting for something good to eat.

I was at Gilbert Run...sadly, no picks there....was hoping for few left over trout...it was good just to get out and walk around the lake too...the wind wasn't bad. I watched an eagle dive down and come up empty a few times too, so I don't feel too bad about coming home empty handed, even they were struggling a bit.
