Small Pond Find

Visited a local pond in Edgewater, MD for a few hours this morning. Still has a lot of plant growth, so was hard to find open areas to throw the fly. Was looking for some average size Blue Gills for a little excitement. On one retrieval the fly was smacked hard and started a nice little run. After a couple of minutes, i was able to land this nice 11.5” bass on a Joe Bruce Cicada fly.

I know this is not a hugh fish, but for the size of the pond, it is big.
