I went back to my stretch of river with the Tenkara rod over the weekend. The water is cooling and it will probably be my last wet wade trip. Low water and crystal clear.
I caught about 8 fallfish and this one beautiful little smallie. The black wooly bugger continued to work, until I lost it in a tree branch up high. What a lovely October weekend.
I need to buy some materials to create a bunch of olive, black, and brown wooly buggers this winter.
