  • More Tenkara Micro Fishing

I took advantage of the fabulous weather last weekend to fish for about a half hour. I visited a particular shopping center storm water management pond with my Tenkara rod and a very small fly. I had a blast and was catching about a fish every minute or two. Here are some photos. These tiny green sunfish are still a blast to catch on the Tenkara rod. I hope this pond still offers good fishing in a few years so I can introduce my grandsons to the fun.

Tom - Although I do not fly fish, I enjoy your reports of catching fish using simple shoreline tactics. I try similar things occasionally using an ultralight spinning rod, 1/16-oz jigheads, and 2" twistertails.

Those sunfish are pretty little buggers too.
