No boat yesterday, but fly fishing a little bead-head swallow tail nymph yielded this little brown trout.
Caught by casting into a riffle, about 3' deep, running fairly quickly. I cast slightly upstream and let the nymph drift. The brown got on and gave me a nice little fight.
This was my last fish caught as a single man. I got married about 5 hours later
Time: 10:00AM.
Coord: 39.310685 N -76.792481 W
Outside temp: Sunny, ~76 deg F
Water clarity: slightly opaque
Rod: Sage Approach 5 wt. 9'
Line: Scientific Anglers Mastery GPX WF floating line.
Leader: Orvis 3x 9'.
