Haven't posted in awhile and just got back in the kayak last week. Just wanted to give a brief report. We have been having success using primarily suspending jerk baits this past week. No behemoths, but we're catching em
We've been working them sloooooow. I give it a solid jerk and wait 15 seconds to jerk again. All hits are coming on the pause. Hope this info helps some of you get on em.
Also wanted to report I'm getting closer to my first musky! I'm thinking in the next two weeks I'll have a successful musky report. Found three in one day last week with the biggest around 35". They were still very much awake and moving so I'm assuming they're still hungry. No takers yet but did have a couple follows (water was crystal clear, I think it makes them a little harder to fool).
Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas.
