Mind if I join you on your planned trip? I've never fished the lake but I've been hitting tidal water pretty hard lately, I think some freshwater would be a nice change of pace. Also, I've never caught a northern pike so it would be super cool to add to my all-time species list!

I may try and make it out. Gotta work late that same night, so maybe I'll be a slightly later arrival than the rest of you. Attached is my only catch from last week, caught to the left of the greenbridge ramp in shallow water. Was a fun fight on a light rod/2500 reel.

That's a nice one. My colleague has been telling me that "it is a good day at Tridelphia when he does not catch a pike." I thought he was exaggerating, but I caught three the other night in a short amount of time and I really enjoy catching them.

                Yes, come join us.

The striper above was caught at Tridelphia (not by me) after eating the white perch also shown. Pretty cool

Just a reminder to folks that you can purchase your day use passed for Triadelphia online at the link below. If you want to pay onsite, you have to go to the office behind the dam, and pay with cash or check only. They don't open until 7am either, so I recommend getting it online. I have an annual pass, but they are calendar year, so may not be worth it at this point. Your call!

I purchased my day pass yesterday. Next year I will likely get the season pass. Thanks Cliff

Just a note on Triadelphia passes -- some folks can get complimentary day or annual passes.

If you're 65, for example, you pay no fees. There are also exemptions for certain categories of active and retired military personnel.

I look forward to meeting folks at Triadelphia Reservoir tomorrow morning at the Green Bridge Rec Area.

If you have a VHF radio, please bring it.

My plans have changed and I won't be making the trip to Triadelphia. Sorry to miss out on it, I do hope to make it out there sometime.

I'm afraid I don't have a VHF radio either, Mark. I've been meaning to ask folks for recommendations. FYI, a buddy is fishing Triadelphia this morning. He reports the lake is up 2 or 3 feet after all the rain, and water temps have fallen into the low 70s. He says visibility is still good. With a little cloud cover tomorrow, and light winds, hopefully we'll have a good fishing tomorrow with the fish drawn up a little shallower.
