I was planning on Tridelphia, but could be persuaded...I'll need to look at some charts and stuff. I'm still targeting walleye, and haven't gotten one in Focky Gorge yet.

I thought it was closed because of the kid who drowned. Is it going to be opened? I havent been there yet.

I might be at Triadelphia at dawn and fish for a couple of hours. Only have time tomorrow for a quick fishing trip someplace.

Triadelphia is closed but RG is open. Im not sure about tomorrow but it is currently closed

I hadn't heard about anyone drowning...that sucks. I just called the Brighton Dam office (301)-206-7485, lady said Rocky Gorge is open and Tridelphia is closed. She didn't know how long it will be closed, possibly a couple more days.

So, yes I will be at Rocky Gorge tomorrow. I'm going to put in at the Supplee Lane ramp. Scott's Cove is farther upstream, and I will be going past it...but I would imagine it will be PACKED tomorrow, with Tridelphia closed.

I'm at the mercy of my daughter's schedule...probably launch between 9 and 10. I'll have my VHF with me, I'll have it scanning 16, 68, 69 and 72; since that's what I've heard of people using around here.

On Monday evening I did a bunch of work on my old Volvo and after I finished I went to take the wagon for a test drive. My normal test drive loop involves driving over Brighton Dam. As I approached the dam, the road was blocked by police. As I had been working on the vehicle in my garage earlier, there was the sound of a police helicopter hovering and hovering in the direction of Brighton Dam. So I concluded there was a suicide or a drowning there. I looked for a news story about it on the internet, but couldn't find any information. Maybe they haven't found the body yet and that's why it is closed?

Isn't swimming prohibited at both Tridelphia and Rocky Gorge?
