Ive launched at scotts cove.. fished down that way and done very well

Had a decent day out on the water with Zach and others. Caught 9 lass and one catfish , on a spinner bait. Had to leave early but caught them on shaky head, spinner bait, crank baits.

Cowkid2 caught the biggest crappie I've seen in Maryland, 13 inches. Not a trophy, but still bigger than any I've caught here.



We caught a bunch of white perch, my daughter had a couple bass too, nothing very big...maybe a pound.

Couldn't find any walleye.

I ended the day with 17 bass.. About a 14 lb limit.. 2 northern pike n 2 crappie all on a green pumpkin jig

I ended up loosing my best one.. I've never thrown a jig before so I wasn't putting it down until I got the hang of it... I couldn't even tell u where the jigs came from in my box... But I'll do some research tonight I know I order one from TW once lol

Cool thanks...I'll look around and see what I can find. I don't usually target bass, even less now that we've been getting some walleye. I still haven't gotten a walleye in RG, but I'll find them!

Nice, Zach I knew you'd get 15 or more. It was nice meeting everyone. Sorry I was a bonehead and forgot to leave the keys. Looking forward to getting back out there as soon as possible. From what I hear the Gorge has 2 weeks left of real productive fishing and then its on to Triadelphia for the summer!!!!

Next time I go to the Gorge I'll be putting in at the lower end. I'm on leave all this week, so if anyone want's to go post up. I'm not fishing tomorrow, got other plans. Monday, depending on the weather, should be a go. My deck hand will be in school, so I can go early.
