Congrats on the dry top, John. What did you end up getting?

I bought the ICOM M-34 last spring- it works fine, floats and vibrates the water out of the speaker...doesn't answer my cellphone, though...it has a high rating for reliability and toughness...but most of us aren't hard on our electronics, so that might not matter much."Lady Luck" 2016 Red Hibiscus Hobie Outback, Lowrance Hook2-7TS

Got the M-34 too, Ron. Been using it on the yak for over 2 1/2 years and it's still going strong. Great radio!
Four Trevala S's? Is that enough?
MetroMan, I may try those Glacier Gloves too. Thanks for the tip!2015 Hobie Outback (yellow)

It's hard for me to pull the trigger on it without seeing one in action first.
As for Christmas mine arrived early. A Shimano Sustain 2500 AND a 4000. Very nice...

Its hands down the best Tog rod and with the trevala F i can handle upto 1lb of weight. You never know when you're going to have to fish in a tsunami.
