Hey thanks guys! I worked on it last night a bit, got an anchor trolley set up with some cleast and also started moving my fishfinder over from my other kayak.

At first I wasn't a huge fan of the stone color, but I actually really like it now. It is very clean looking.

Not gonna lie man... that thing looks ginormous! It should be more then stable for what you want to do with it.

One thing i have done to not wear out the rubber seams around the hatches is leave them open. Not sure if its worth anything but it cant hurt...

It is always nice to get a new kayak. Have fun. We have the Stealth 12 at the store. I have liked those ever since we have started to carry them. The 14 should even be better.

I also have the 12ft. Stealth, however this is my first kayak, so I don't have any experience with others to compare it to. One of the biggest selling features for me besides all the storage for kayak camping was the stability and the ability to stand up and fish. I have only tried standing a few times, and on my first attempt I ended up in the water....in March!!! Needless to say I was pretty cold after that. Its gonna take some practice but I don't plan on doing much in the way of standing until it starts getting hot. Don't expect to be standing up and fishing right away. But overall I love it.

Its a great kayak. I havent ventured yet to stand but i certainly see it in my future. From your experience, i will wait till the waters are a bit warmer
