I never had the Alabama rig with the four blade teasers. I had yumbrella with four blades on it but that got taken by a boat that got a little too close. I do however have a booYah with four blades now that's a lot smaller. I caught both the bluefish and the rockfish on both set ups. One rockfish on each. If I had the time I probably would've caught a lot more.

Anyone ever put those together (tandem); have the big one in front of the small one or vice versa?

I don't know how you would keep the front one from getting in the way of the one in the back but if someone could figure out a way to make it work I bet it would attract a lot more fish since it looks like a bigger school

Thanks buddy. It feels good. It was hard getting to this point but I now have the confidence that I need. Thanks to yakfishes book I got on to the striper quicker than I would have. I highly recommend to anyone who has not read this book or does not know about it to please get a copy because it has helped me tremendously!! It's called LIGHT TACKLE KAYAK TROLLING THE CHESAPEAKE BAY. You can get it from some local fishing shops around the bay, Facebook, Amazon or from Alan Battista himself on here!!

That's a cool idea. I may try that next weekend!! I could totally hook that kind of thing up. It may end up a little bit to heavy for my rods though.

Never thought about hookin an umbrella on an umbrella. Great idea. Thinking a 5 way and hooking a 3 way flashmob on the end.

                          If it's worth doing, it's worth over-doing.

I'll stick with conventional tackle. The umbrella rigs must be quite a bit more drag from the way they look.

That's the one. I have the Booyah also. Booyah calls theirs Alpine Rigs, but they look exactly like Alabama Rigs. I do great with the soft plastics but I haven't caught anything on the one with the blades... yet
