I went up to Stark Moon Paddle and picked up a FeelFree Moken 14.. this thing is HUGE but so am I.

I picked this because of the humungous rear area... there is enough room for my son to sit back there and stretch out his legs. It had good reviews and nothing really bad was said about them in the billion reviews I read. Stark Moon is an awesome place and I got an awesome price.. it got even better when we found a crack in it from shipping.. nothing below the water and nothing that cannot be fixed.. but enough to knock a good chunk off the price.

Correct. Handheld CB are not the same thing. You want to get a "Marine" radio. I have a Standard Horizon 280

for the record we talked something furious about you.. heheh. You missed a good time even though the fish were not abundant. The water was calm, breeze nearly non existant, sun was out and it was really pleasant.

I was using a little bass plug I had used in fresh water.. I trolled around for a while and when I reeled my line in I couldn't feel the little shimmy it does on the line.. but there was no tugging either.. so I figured it had gotten fouled or some weeds stuck to it.. I almost had the thing all the way in my hand before I realized there was a fish on the line too. In that picture it looks vaguely guilty, like it was caught doing something naughty.. perhaps that is just me though.

It's all right, we were just fine without you. You can just hang out with your fancy friends on their big fancy motor boat and not at all feel the slightest bit guilty. Really really, no hard feelings, it's fine and we hold no grudges but could you please stop looking at any pictures of OUR trip, it makes me a little uncomfortable. Don't you have any of YOUR own fancy motor boat trip and friends pictures to look at.

And BTW I will be doing my hair on Sundays and Wednesdays for the indefinite future and it may be hard to schedule a trip together which makes it all the more a shame that you missed the most fun and wonderful trip of all time on Sunday. But no no really it's fine, we all had a wonderful time and didn't even notice you weren't there and had abandoned us.
