Got out on Bay for a few hours today, and got some keepers. 21" and 23.5" striper, 16" blue and 19.25" spotted sea trout. First time I ever caught a trout, and my biggest striper (by a half inch) and blue. Three personal bests in one day...and the first fish of the day was a larger blue, my guestimate is 18-20".
Caught all of them trolling in 8-10 feet of water. "Opening Night" Zman paddle tail on 1/2oz jig was the best producer, I also had a "Bass Assassin - Armed Assassin" parachute rig with white-ish tails that caught lots of small fish and the blue pictured. Probably caught 20-25 stripers today, mostly small. One other keeper at "just barely legal", everything else 17.5" and under...mostly around 15".
