Fished Rocky Gorge from Supplee Landing last night
Took the afternoon and got on the waters after 4pm. It was stifling with the PFD but cooled down fairly quickly starting around 5 pm.
I really like not having to share the waters with PWCs and power boats. Not as much bird and wildlife as on the rivers but the scenery is beautiful and except for the tower powerlines and the dam, no signs of civilization.
Explored a few of the coves up to the no tresspass area by the dam. No action until after 7pm then caught a small bass on a mini-fluke and at around 8:30 pm finally got a decent bucket mouth.
I'm willing to meet at RG for occasional afterwork fishing, if anyone is interested.
