DanM. lol me too. I think the TV football gods were hoping for a Rogers/ Manning matchup, but when that didn't work out it was the Brady/Rogers match, but that didn't work, then the two young guys. Ratings, ratings, ratings. I don' t know why Russell Wilson doesn't get the respect he has earned and Pete Carroll has demonstrated his genius over and over again.
Of course I want my team to win... For bragging rights, but this year I can honestly say that I won't be mad if Seattle gets it. The NFL and TV marriage is a dangerous one who's sole purpose is to make money and shape minds. When a story like this is the lead story on the Today Show ... really? There's nothing else happening in the world? Hmmm. Ratings. The focal point is to blame Belichick. That story will get the highest ratings. Common sense when applied would lead you to that conclusion. I'm sure that checking air pressure is someone else's job.

Growing up in PNW it was Trailblazers, Seahawks and Mariners in that order for me. I am more a Mariners, seahawks, Trailblazers guy now. When the 'hawks hired a USC guy I thought I was gonna PUKE, but I kept supporting. Now that USC guy is taking us to 2 super bowls.......now I am conflicted. I just keep telling myself "it must have been the Liquor! Once he sobered up he fled USC" ......pathetic, I know, but it's the only way I can swallow rooting for Carrol. Of course I'm not really rooting for the coach, I'm rooting for the TEAM and the REGION

So Kat, you keep supporting those guys........even if they have shrunken Balls. It was pretty cold that day, i'm sure the stadium was filled with shrunken balls
