    I'm new to kayaking this year, would go out with you guys as well. I'm sure I'll need the experience

      I think the ability to go in solitude is what attracts a lot of us to this sport.....although I really like fishing with others. Looking forward to 2015... Got a late start in 2014.

        I love solitude myself, but as a newbie I would do it for safety until I got comfortable

          Its never a good idea to go alone in cold water situations. Bad stuff happens fast and when the waters 34°F 5-15 min. In the water can mean death. Buddy up and suit up in cold weather.
