    There are a lot of them in the bay right now...I'm afraid they will be a nuisance the rest of the summer. Last year I only hooked one of them; I'm up to four already this season...three of them just today.

      I would be willing to bet that the sharks you saw were all Cow Nosed Rays - Their wingtips look like a shark fin. I saw a ton of them on Wednesday

        Yep, thanks for setting me straight. I'm sure thats what they were. Here's the quick clip of them in the distance...sure seemed like baby sharks at the time Maybe I'm just a little too excited about shark week coming up.

          Will anyone be out Saturday morning ( weather permitting ) I was thinking about trying the bay on the "free fishing day" but I really should get my bay license anyways.
          I've just been fishing fresh water and am generally new to kayaking
