      I almost got one because i was going to get a good deal on it. Then I saw the FS12t and got that instead.

      It'd be a really good lake kayak but that's about all id use it for.

        From the research I've done the 12T seems more versatile and that's what I want. Your's is a 2015? Did you add handles?

          Yup I have the '15 model. I didn't add side handles and I probably won't. I like being able to leg sweep bigger fish and a handle would just get in the way. That's just my preference though!

            Are you guys still loving your Ascends 12T? I went by AM BPS and was looking at the 12T and the 128T. I like the 128T, especially the one they had fully loaded for 1500 (little bit out my price range). Have you guys taken your kayak out in the Bay? I would be fishing a lot around the Severn River but wouldn't mind fishing inshore around the Chesapeake. Being 6'2, 240lbs would the 12T hold up or would I need to go bigger?
