Now I feel bad for Bowley's Bait & Tackle for having a gazillion minnows to sell. From what I understand, they were to order more minnows for our event.

I called down there first thing this morning and talk to the man. I don't believe his orders they had come in yet he wasn't expecting in until late this afternoon so hopefully he was able to cancel it

Figure I'll pick an end to this thread. I want to thank everyone for their compliments and interest in participating. The February Meet and Greet is a tough one to predict. We shoveled snow before and cleared ice to find open water....even had one event in the 60's! Maybe next weekend we can get something going informally. Just called the spill gate hotline and they are still pushing water up to 93,000 cfs...so it was a good call. The perch will be around for the next three weeks and soon after the striper C&R season will be heating up on the flats. Take care and tight lines
