Ok, I got Friday off..... Fish in the morning and work in my yard in the afternoon.....do we have a definitive decision on the launch location?

I'm there Friday too, what the ETA for launch and where? Pinch I'm gonna go all the way home Thusday night and pick up my boat then meet you guys there Friday morning, taking it back to OC for the rest of the summer.

Has anyone approached the Hemmingway's Owner and asked if they would be willing to sell launch permits for $20 bucks each for a year? I have never fished the bridge and most likely will not regularly but it would be worth saving an hour paddle both ways for $20.

That would be a nice chunk of change for them with the knowledge that we may also eat/drink there after the outings.

They could even sponsor a kayak only rockfish tourney one weekend if they wanted and sell the @#@#$ out of food.

Judging by the boats in that marina, $20 is chomp change but yes I would pay a fee. I say offer them $20 for the months June - Sept.

i plan on being there around 6:30-7. i plan on launching from the marina at hemingways. talked to them again today and they gave me the ok. im gonna stop by anglers before hand so if you guys want we can meet there around 6:30.

This should work well, I'm gonna meet PINCH at 6am at anglers then we're gonna head to the marina. It will probably work perfect as we are heading out, you will be pulling in, somewhat staggering the launch. Don't want to Bombard the marina too much after just getting the go ahead for launching.

Tomorrow looks like white caps and rollers so prepare for some chop. S wind 5-10. S wind gets crazy on the eastside. Drift socks and wreckanchors will be part of my load out. I fished twice this week in south wind and it wasn't pretty.

Looks like I won't make it but I'll head out Saturday morning instead.

South wind doesn't matter how fast sucks funnels right up the bay and concentrates at the bridge
