Nice job guys good to see the WP moving around. Were you guys finding the WP along riprap or beside structure?

They were mixed in with the rockfish- 6-10 feet of water near shoal areas- water temp was 67 degrees they ate smaller 2-3 inch paddle tails plastics like candy..

Got some work to do on my yak today- if I finish early might head down south to see if the speckled trout have showed...I caught my first one last year before Memorial Day-my biggest kayak catch was almost 28 inches...love to catch specks and reds-

Enjoyed the company of new fishing friends and always exploring and fishing new territory...catching big white perch was a bonus...as was a limit of keeper rock..the CNRs- not so much...

I invited ronaultmtd and another friend over last thursday for some perch and rockfish. Bite was good but had to sort out the small rockfish, after getting my limit of rockfish I began to target perch and found them. Rays are back, we snagged a couple.

Its been great out here for white perch right now, 11 inchers all day

I have another obligation that day but if I can blow it off between now and then, count me in too. I should know by mid June. When do they need the money by?

For all you Ultra-Light folks this should be "the" tournament of the year for you- gives me a chance to fish only with UL spinning gear- something I really enjoy doing- and white perch are really tasty critters on the table, too...one thing to remember is big horse croakers will be mixed in the catch, so you better double check your drag settings...
