Review of new sun protection product

I bought a hooded sun shirt a while back and really like it. The fabric is amazingly cool and if I wear it over just a synthetic tank top it is cooler then a cotton t shirt somehow. The hood is huge enough to cover and drape around the brim of a hat, keeping my face well shaded. I bank fish probably 3-4 days a week and wear it every time now. I just need to coat it in permethrin and it can be my hiking shirt as well.

I recently picked up these http://www.basspro.com/World-Wide-Sp...duct/10213717/ I have had them out once so far. They do the trick of protecting my fee from the sun and a more comfortable than a regular shoe/boot might be. I am happy with them for $29

I know the cause for the ban is warranted but it's really unfortunate because felt soles work great for gripping slippery rocks when wade fishing. They were a mainstay for me in my river wading days.

Maybe I grabbed the wrong link.. I just checked and mine are rubber soles with Neoprene sides.. no felt that I can find.

Seems like for trolling it would work fine, maybe, not sure about casting though.

Thanks, I picked up one at Cabelas the other day. It works great. I was out on the Susquehanna for 5 hrs yesterday, it kept me cool, protected and I was able to breath through the mesh easily.
