        Never been there....lol

Lots of info on Keith Lochwoods fishing reports about deep creek, I'd probably start with drop shotting live minnows down deep....that should get you into a variety of things. Otherwise working rocks, wood, drop offs with crankbaits should find you something...

My buddy went out there this spring and had a rough time. I'd start out finesse fishing and work my way up. Roboworm on a drop shot rig works wonders.

I'm probably going to start with worms and minnows and maybe early morning topwater.

I used to spend a lot of time on Deep Creek...if you had a power boat I would offer more suggestions, but assuming your kayaking and some what limited on covering lots of water. If you just want some pullage try Perch patterned, hard jerk baits perch.jpg nearly anywhere for pickerel, I would suggest a very small diameter, 6" long wire leader...OR pitch 4" worms OR ZOOM finesse worms on very light jig heads, under docks, for large mouth bass

Plan to go in the early morning or very late because there is a lot of boat traffic.
