Getting better hooksets when yak trolling

I have a set of jewler's files- but not everyone uses them for sharpening hooks- they are left over tools from my days as an inside machinist- most use a hook stone that has a groove in it specifically for sharpening hooks- and it does not matter which direction you stroke the file/stone so long as you put a sharp point on the hook- I use my thumbnail as a guide to measure sharpness- if the hook sticks, it is sharp"Lady Luck" 2016 Red Hibiscus Hobie Outback, Lowrance Hook2-7TS
